A highly decorative architectural relief panel featuring a dramatic central mask, surrounded by scrolling foliage, flowers and fantastical animal forms. The composition has a distinctively theatrical, classic character, with a rich raised detailing and elegant arched crest at the centre.

Finished with an aged off-white tone, this piece retains surface character of rubbing, cracking and chips that enhance its wonderfully time-worn appearance.

Would work beautifully above a doorway, fireplace, console or a statement wall piece.

Thought to be from 18/19th century but unable to confirm exact age other than conversational information from the reputable seller.
